New internet pages for NUPI

Published: 26 May 2015

Welcome to the new internet pages for nupi.no! The changes are big, both in appearance and where to find the material. This is still only a small part of what is new. We believe that the new solution is better than the old one - and we hope you agree with us.

Since 2013 we have worked on a complete renovation of nupi.no, both in terms of concept, design and technology. You can now be assured that nupi.no will provide you with updated and relevant information about NUPI's work: International issues of importance to Norwegian foreign policy. In a transitional phase there may nevertheless be older content that is missing. We are still working on producing and presenting content to convey NUPI's research and provide information on important issues to the public. Meanwhile we are correcting errors and improving the functionality of the website. Your help is invaluable here, so we appreciate your feedback.

How do the new website work?

The new nupi.no is made with the aim of making it easy for our audience and users as to find the information they are looking for. This is no easy task, but we think we've landed on some sound principles:

  1. All content can be found via thematic and geographic keywords - "tags". Whether you are looking for a news story, information about a book, an event or a person, everything is marked with tags. These can also be found in the top menu.
  2. Our researchers are easy to find. You will find a selection on the front page, and all are easily accessible via the menu and 'tags''-pages. The same goes for events and publications.
  3. The website should work equally well on a mobile phone as on a large screen. It should be easy to press the menus and links, whether you use your finger or a mouse. The texts will be readable, and we use more photographs and videos than before.

We hope you like our new website as well!
