New board of NUPI

The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, NUPI, has today got a new board. The new chair of the board is Kate Hansen Bundt, secretary general of The Norwegian Atlantic Committee.

The other members of the new board are: Målfrid Braut-Hegghammer (The Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies, IFS)), Espen Barth Eide (World Economic Forum), Alf Håkon Hoel (Institute of Marine Research), Katja Franko Aas (Institute for Criminology), Benjamin de Carvalho (NUPI) and Elin O. Demiraslan (NUPI).
 Deputy board members are Geir Ulfstein (Institutt for Public Law), Gunhild Hoogensen Gjørv (University of Tromsø), Julie Wilhelmsen (NUPI) and Karsten Friis (NUPI).

“We are pleased with the new appointment. This gives us a qualified board that will help us develop the institute further”, says Ulf Sverdrup, director of NUPI.

The board is appointed by the Norwegian Ministry of Education for a period of four years until the end of 2017.
