Sejla PehlivanovicGraduate Research Fellow
Sejla Pehlivanovic is a Graduate Research Fellow in the Research group for peace, conflict and development.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Development studies from the University of Oslo, where she is currently writing her master's thesis in Political science. Pehlivanovic's thesis is on the relationship between state and civil society in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and more specifically on cumulative extremism between extremist groups. Pehlivanovic has previously conducted fieldwork in Cape Town, where she studied the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in South Africa. Her research interests include Western Balkans, nation-building, migration, and nationalism.
