Karoline Andrea Haugvoll

Graduate Research Fellow

Karoline is a master’s student in international relations at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). At NUPI she is a Graduate Research Fellow affiliated with the Research group for Global Order and Diplomacy.

In her thesis Karoline writes about Scottish paradiplomacy. More specifically she is interested both in how Scotland performs diplomacy and how this is directed towards the Nordic countries in particular.

Karoline holds an MA in international relations from the University of Edinburgh and has previously worked at the Norwegian embassy in London, first as a student intern and later in the consular section.
