Johann Ole Willers
Research FellowOle is a PhD Fellow at NUPI's Centre for Cyber Security Studies. His research is part of the Market for Anarchy Project headed by Ole Jacob Sending.
Ole’s interest is in the interplay of micro-level processes and macro structures in International Relations. In doing so, he is combining organizational studies and international relations theory in the field of cybersecurity and cyberwarfare to highlight the role of professional networks in shaping state responses to cyber threats. A special focus in his research is the transnational production of risk assessments and risk management approaches – a blind spot in traditional international relations theories.
