Francesco Strazzari

Adjunct research professor, SSSA, SAIS Europe and NUPI

Francesco Strazzari is part of NUPI´s project "Fragile states and violent entrepreneurs: conflict, climate, refugees" (FRAGVENT).

He is also Associate Professor of International Relations at the Pisa-based Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. He specializes in conflict studies, with a specific focus on European security, state-building, extra-legal governance and transnational organized crime. Strazzari holds a PhD from the European University Institute, Florence. He has been lecturing at SAIS Europe (The Johns Hopkins University), University of Amsterdam, and University of Bologna.
